Lucy Cox is a stand up and musical comedian, but also a scriptwriter and actress. Her greatest accolade to date is reaching the Final of the Musical Comedy Awards 2013. Lucy has written and performed her own shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the last three years to great critical acclaim.

Lucy is currently working on her latest show "Feminism: The Musical!" which she hopes to debut in London in the autumn.
Lucy released her second sketch campaigning for the removal of Page 3 from The Sun, when the paper initiated a new campaign 'Page 3 V Breast Cancer' To date it has had 5000 hits.
At the beginning of the year Lucy released a sketch 'What to do with Page 3?' campaigning for No More Page 3 which received over 15,000 hits on YouTube and an appearance on the Dutch News.
In April having won her way through numerous heats Lucy reached the Final of the Musical Comedy Awards and got to perform at the Bloomsbury Theatre.
In the summer of 2013 Lucy appeared at the Edinburgh Festival in 'Collier and Cox: Single, No Return' a stand up and musical comedy show with fellow fabulous comedian Jenny Collier. An exploration into single life and the dating scene, Lucy advised her audience on how and how NOT to date, using her own experience and tips from notorious self help book bestsellers The Rules and The Game.
In August Lucy entered Funny Women's Comedy Writing Award competition with her screenplay for 'Rom Com Wrong' and was named 'One To Watch'.
In September Lucy took part in the London 48 Hour Film Project. Participating both as a writer and performer. Her film 'Evil in Evelyn' won three awards, Best Special Effects, Best Editing and Best Actor- Lucy Cox.
Lucy did a one woman stand up show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe called 'Lucy Cox: Attractive Audience Required' She dissected topics including, dating sociopaths, winky faces and sexy dreams. Each day she picked the hottest male member of her audience, serenaded him and tweeted his picture to her gallery of hot hotties.
In September Lucy entered the London 48 Hour Film Competition for the fast time. Writing the short film 'Be My Baby'
Lucy made her first appearance at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with her comedy musical, 'Rom Com Wrong'. A satire of romantic films and the dating scene in the age of Facebook stalking, text speak and binge drinking.
